Working with Landowners

We lease land from landowners from 1 acre and upwards. The land doesn't need any existing planning consents, we arrange all the required permissions.

By leasing your land to us for a renewable energy project, it provides you with an opportunity to earn a long term income and your land is being used to directly reduce harmful carbon emissions.

Leases are usually backed by large institutional investors, giving a high level of security. Typically, a lease term can be for up to 40 years, thus giving landowners' confidence over their income for a substantial period of time.

At the end of the project life, the hardware and infrastructure are removed and the land is remediated where necessary and returned to its original state before being handed back to the land owner.

What type of land

We can generally work with land starting from 1 acre and up to many hundreds of acres. Land can be brownfield, greenbelt or agricultural and in rural or built up locations.

We carry out a basic review of the site and its location to understand its suitability. This relatively quick initial process only lasts a few weeks and subject to confirming some basic parameters, we then continue with obtaining all the necessary consents to develop the site into a renewable energy project.

We take the lead to ensure the project fulfils the parameters required by our institutional investors.
